IAWM 2012 Annual Concert Call for Works
Receipt Deadline: March 1, 2012
The International Alliance for Women in Music announces its call for scores for the Annual Concert 2012.
The concert will take place at the Livewire Festival in Baltimore, Maryland, USA on the weekend of October 27, 2012 at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).
The New York-based Ensemble Pi will perform the concert (http://ensemble-pi.org/).
Requirements
- Current membership in IAWM is required for submission
- Each member may submit a maximum of 2 works for consideration.
- Works submitted should have a duration of 20 minutes or less.
- Works should be for 1 or more players from the following: soprano, violin, cello, piano, and possibly one other instrument (trombone, clarinet, or contrabass). Works with electronics and/or video are welcome.
- Upon notification of acceptance, all performance materials must be immediately available.
- Submissions must be anonymous.
Deadline for receipt of materials is March 1, 2012. Decisions will be announced by April 15, 2012.
